About Degreasing Cum Brushing Line
Cold rolled coils processed in cold rolling mills, especially when rolled in mineral oils have a thin film of residual rolling oil on the surface after rolling. Burning of this oil film leaves dark patches on the surface during annealing process. Alkaline cleaning and brushing of these coils ensures totally clean surface of the coils before annealing. The Degreasing Line mainly consists of uncoiler unit, squeeze roll units at entry and exit of degreasing chamber, degreasing chamber with brushing rolls, and recoiler unit.
